Whether it is bike mechanics, business admin or retail experience, we offer opportunities for those in school years 10 and 11. This can include extended placements of one day per week, particularly suitable for young people on part time timetables.
Traineeships provide valuable experience in the workplace for those aged 16-24, and are typically for five months.
A full time paid job with training, apprenticeships have been core to how we run Bicycle Recycling since 2012. There are a variety of course options and to date all of our apprentices have progressed into employment either with us or other local employers.
Qualifications & skills for life.
Work based training programmes designed to provide pathways into employment. Gain recognised qualifications in bike maintenance and skills for life such as confidence, self-esteem, decision-making, resilience and responsibility.
